Ansaar Academy Scholarship Program
Ansaar Academy is committed to supporting students who demonstrate financial need,
academic excellence, and strong Islamic character. Scholarships will be awarded based on
a combination of the following criteria, and applicants are expected to meet standards in all
three areas.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
A. Financial Need
To be eligible, families must provide evidence of financial need. Consideration will be based on:
- • Proof of Income: Recent pay stubs, tax returns, or benefits statements.
- • Household Size: Number of dependents in the household.
- • Special Circumstances: Documentation of financial burdens such as medical expenses,
unemployment, etc.
Note: All financial information will be kept confidential.
B. Academic Merit
Students must demonstrate academic responsibility and excellence:
- • Maintain an overall average of 90% or higher in all core subjects during the previous
academic term. - • Submit positive teacher recommendations, including at least one formal letter from a
current teacher who can speak to the student’s academic performance, behavior, and
character. - • Demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and positive behavior in the classroom and
school community.
C. Quran & Islamic Character
Students should embody the values and teachings of Islam in both practice and character:
- • Show consistent progress in Quranic Studies, including memorization or recitation
with proper Tajweed. - • Exhibit strong Islamic character (akhlaq) and manners (adab) with peers, staff, and
family. - • Submit a recommendation letter from both the Islamic Studies and Quran teachers.
Scholarship Details
- • Scholarships will start at 50% of the annual tuition.
- • Final award amounts may vary based on the strength of the application and availability of
funds. - • Families may still be responsible for partial tuition or other school-related fees.
Steps to Apply for a Scholarship at Ansaar Academy
Step 1: Complete the School Registration Form
Begin by submitting the Ansaar Academy Registration Form to initiate the enrollment
process.
Step 2: Interview and School Tour
After registration:
- • The school will schedule an interview with the parent and student.
- • Families will receive a guided tour of the school to learn about our environment,
curriculum, and values.
Step 3: Submit the Scholarship Application
Complete the official Scholarship Application Form.
Step 4: Submit All Required Documents
With the application, submit the following:
- • Proof of income (e.g., pay stubs, tax returns, benefits statements)
- • Supporting documents related to household size and financial hardship
- • Student academic records
- • Required teacher recommendation and feedback letters (see below)
Required Letters for Scholarship Application
- 1. Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from the Current Quran Teacher
- • Student’s Quran memorization or recitation progress
- • Tajweed proficiency
- • Effort, consistency, behavior, and leadership
- 2. Letter of Feedback (LOF) from the Islamic Studies Teacher
- • Islamic understanding and practice
- • Character (akhlaq) and manners (adab)
- • Participation in Salah and Islamic discussions
- 3. Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from the Previous School’s Homeroom Teacher
- • Academic performance and strengths
- • Classroom behavior and peer relationships
- • Leadership, maturity, and overall character
Important Notes:
- • Each letter must be signed, dated, and ideally printed on the school letterhead.
- • Letters should be submitted to the school office or emailed to: info@ansaaracademy.com
- • Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Step 5: Application Review
The scholarship committee will:
- • Review of all submitted applications and documents
- • Evaluate academic performance, Islamic character, and financial need
- • Make decisions based on eligibility and available funds
Processing time: 2–4 weeks
Step 6: Final Decision
Families will be notified by email or phone regarding:
- • Scholarship approval status
- • Percentage awarded (up to 50%)
- • Any remaining tuition or school-related fees
Additional Notes
- • Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain academic, behavioral, and Islamic
standards throughout the year. - • Scholarships are reviewed annually and may be adjusted or revoked based on:
• Attendance
• Academic progress
• Behavior and conduct
• Updated financial circumstances
