Elementary School Teacher:

Ansaar Academy is a private school located in the heart of the Inland Empire. If you have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with elementary students this is a terrific opportunity. We are currently looking for Elementary staff for the 2024-2025 school year. Teachers will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. Teachers will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Implementing CA state standards
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction
  • Strong or curious commitment to progressive pedagogy
  • Developing new and adapting existing curricular units for students
  • Planning and delivering lessons that facilitate active learning
  • Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc
  • Participate in various community groups or functions, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops and assist with state-mandated student testing
  • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success
  • Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
  • Maintaining an inspiring learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with admin, and other teachers throughout all grade levels on campus to strengthen community and student experience, and attend regular meetings
  • Prepare a yearly scope and sequence
  • Turn in weekly lesson plans by due date
  • Attend weekly staff meetings
  • Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
  • Present weekly lessons plans in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
  • Communicating about student progress: writing progress reports and holding parent conferences to keep student needs a priority
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
  • Monitor student progress and growth
Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with Teaching credentials is required.

Qualification:
  • Fully support and abide by the school’s Vision and Mission
  • Prior teaching experience preferred (2 or more years) 
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction
